Is it normal for the burner flame to have intermittent flashes of yellow appearing in the blue flames?

If You see yellow flame thar means not enough oxygen is getting through. Have it checked out because the yellow flame could be giving off carbon monoxyde.
i think its because specks of matter (food) are being burnt off intermittently, which is not dangerous. or air getting into the top of the burner, also not dangerous but needs tuning
