Northern Rock Shareholders - how many?

Just interested to know how many "people" are affected by the drop in share price. I have an ISA with NR but do not hold shares so I'm not really affected. I know that during the Railtrack debacle 250K people were private shareholders - thats without counting all those that had shares in pension schemes etc. How many NR shareholders are there?
