Always like a good, or profitable ending lol!

I am poo with money, so when I set up the dd for my car insurance, it bounced, so they re applied and tried again before pay day :( Spoke to them the other day, and they said I had til 7/4/08 to pay the full 470.10 for the year or my policy would be cancelled.

Phoned this evening, and the first bloke put me on hold and then cut me off, the 2nd women then told me her pc had crashed and she would call me back straight away, waited 40 minutes and then I called again!

Gave them my fellas card details and so on, and they then said that because I was paying the whole lot in one go, I would get a 103 deduction!!

Now that is what I call a good end to a mad/bad week!

Is this usual or am I just lucky?!

Well I think the price I pay is realllly good any way, alot less then my fella or any one else I have spoken to.
Seeing as I havent passed my test yet, Alan is named driver and I went for recovery service and every type of insurance I could get, and it only came to just over 500 in total per year :)

And as for back in the driving seat? Hmm only just!
Had a very bad lesson last night, I drove well, but going round a roundabout, someone was knocked off their motorbike right in front of me and it really shook me up.

I was ready to burst in to tears but I carried on going, just!
470 for a year's insurance. I think they have seen you coming anyway. Did you shop around, and is this your lowest ever quote? Do you mind my asking what car you drive?
