How can I get a job in the caribbean

Hi I am a uk citizen with experience in retail, admin, bar and recruitment and would like to work in the caribbean be it full time for 6 months or eternity

please could someone advise me the best way to go about this as I have not had any luck from the usual job sites such as monster etc.

It's not the type of work you have been doing, but i've seen adverts in some of the sailing magazines, looking for crew. you don't always need experience, they sometimes need just general dogsbodies, to cook and clean.
I don't think the pay would be very good, its a bit like when people come to this country to work as a nanny, they get to live in and get some pocket money. but may be worth it, what a life ! cruising in the sun !
have a look at the some of the sailing websites.
If you live near the coast check out if there are any sailing clubs, and pop in.
I live in liverpool and i once went to the albert dock here, in the sailing club, on the notice board there were cards, crew wanted to sail to the med.
It's got to be better than filling shelves in tesco.
