Gravy to go with venison steaks
Any help appreciated on how to make a red wine gravy to go with venison steaks when I don't have any bones to roast and also do parsnips and carrots take the same time to roast in the oven. Any advice would be appreciated as I may have been too adventurous at the farmers market yesterday. Thanks in advance. Fran b.

One thing though is not to overcook the venison ideally it should be pink in the middle but if you cant eat it like that just cook a little longer.
I have also added cranberry jelly to the sauce instead of honey and that is delicious.
Provided the carrots are cut thin they should roast at the same rate as the parsnips.
