I think you should wear anything you want at the reception lmao

well it would be a shame to waste all that money I spent on one this morning :-)
Of course it is, but if I was you I would put some knickers on as well or it will look silly with just a hat on. :-)
yeah why not, you'll end up taking it off once you get p issed and move onto the dance floor!

well I was going to wear clothes ray!! Its not a summer wedding is it lol
If you're going to the church or civil ceremony with your hat on, then keep it on when going to the reception.

You may want to take it off later in the evening when things get a bit energetic!!!!
Only thing is, if you get too hot, then your hair is going to be flat when you take it off.
I would spend the money on a great hairdo instead.
Thats good 4get, I like to see a lady wearing a nice hat, looks so feminine, more should do it, have great time. :-)

Be different, do what you want to do!

well you're all invited
Wear a fascinator!! I only learnt that word when my son got married a couple of years ago- it's one of those feathery things you clip into your hair- they look fab + don't give you flat "hat hair" x
I went to a wedding reception and some of the ladies kept their hats on. I cant remember if I left mine on or off but like you say it's an expensive item if you are not going to get VFM for it so I would wear it for as long a poss.
