I have received a letter from my 16 year old sons school today to inform me that he has failed to comply with the agreement signed about the use of the internet and computers at school!

He has been caught using the net for purposes other than to do his work!
the letter stated the reason for the 2 week ban as follows ..............................................

Im not sure how to feel about this one! I cant help it but i just keep giggling ! I keep imagining his face as his teacher caught him!

I will have to give him the proverbial rollocking but am i wrong to find it slightly amusing too? I know its wrong of him to do it, he should know better!!! He never gets away with anything!

try and keep a staright face when telling him off for using the school PC for things other than work. But it is funny lol

slightly off tangent, many moons ago i went to an all girls convent school. i was about 15 when we had to do a music project. My group decided that we need an electronic keyboard so i (as the only non-boarder) was sent off home to get one.

I grabbed the box from my brothers wardrobe and rushed back. When i got to class i opened the box and pulled on the keyboard, it was stuck a bit tight so i pulled harder and out it flew, along with about 5 porn mags!!!!

I never forget the time I was at school (secondary), standing in a circle with about 10 mates, put my hand in my blazer pocket and felt something, pulled it out and it was a photo of me as a 10 year with my willy hanging out.

All my mates saw me pull the photo out, you can guess the rest!!!!

My best mate put it in there the night before!!

As the mother of a testosterone fuelled 17 year old I can say this is pretty normal behaviour.
I don't clean my sons bedroom any more as it's just too embarrassing when I come across his lad mags, condoms....and on one occasion a pair of handcuffs!

magazine Health and Efficiency, with the main interesting
part of the female body airbrushed out. Still, we managed.

Oh jules , I too had to laugh , how are you going to tell him off without really really embarassing the lad ...lol

Lol! Your son's lucky he's managed to get that far on a school computer. My nephew's the same age, and he's miffed because none of them can access sites like Youtube as the security's so tight!
Give yours a "look" - tell him what you know - and then have a laugh about it. x

Yeah normal! At school they have this restricted access thing. Just watch out for another stage where they get together to make cd copies at home & sell them in the playground! Signs are having secret bundles swapped at the door or secretly stashed in their school bags! I had an argument with my son over this as his dads computer was being used for the downloads!!! Be warned xxx

Oh come on, you can't rollick him for that!!! If it were my son, I'd much rather him be looking for porn rather than real-life executions or those so-called 'happy-slapping' phone vids. He's sixteen, he's a walking hormone bomb - he's thinking with his d*ck and nothing else!

I agree with someone else they should have had controls in place -after all its like kid in a sweetie shop scenario really. .Dont think I would even rollock him that much -just to be more careful in future lol x

How funny - but yes, you ought to give him a good telling off...for appearances sake and also cos "it what mums are supposed to do!"

My brother tells a story of when my mum found porno mags in his room. She sent my dad to tell him off big time, and confiscate them, (she was too horrified) anyway she stood within earshot to make sure my dad told him the error of his ways etc....

what she didn't know till years later...

is that as soon as my mum was out of earshot my dad came back in, handed him the mags back and kinda winked and said "next ime hide em where your mum won't find em"

right, this is the outcome, now i dont really understand all this but it was all to do with links and filters somehow he ended up on you tube, with moobs as the subject and he told me that t1ts had come up and thats what the teacher saw. Very much an over-reaction!
No, i didnt give him a rollicking and i was stiffling a giggle as i asked him about it!
I just know he wouldnt bother looking for that sort of stuff at school when he has his own laptop at home! The teachers will never back down though on this sort of thing once its been said.

May I suggest you ask the school if they have any books in their library of Roman, Egyptian, Grecian etc culture and if so they remove the books henceforth due to nudity playing a large part.

Further remove the bible due to the Mary Magdeline issue, the Koran as it mentions virgins etc

Further, get rid of sex education, Citizenship and parts of the history syllabus ALL of which contain references to sex, prostitution etc.

Also insist that the female teachers do not wear skirts.

In other words tell the school to F**K OFF and get a life.
