Glad to see the "Killer" in his rightful place at long last. Been able to get well in advance with my first quizzes of the winter this afternoon. In one round where every answer contains at least two sets of double letters I have "taken your name in vain" by asking about the chief interestt of a cruciverbalist. Obviously, given the criterion of at least two sets of double letters, I expect "crossword puzzles" as the answer.

After the recent triumphant march of the Welsh ( not the Welsh Marches! ) through the world of sport I should imagine that every day seems like a holiday.
Can we all back Glamorgan for all competitions/matches this coming cricket season or is that expecting too much?

Yes, the head is still a bit in the clouds, but now I'm just floating down like a sycamore helicopter in a summer breeze.

I put a fiver on Glamorgan in 1997 ... and only got 16-1! You'll get a lot better odds this season, but I've a feeling it might be better to hold onto your money just now though!

There was a bit of a stir when Cardiff City made it to the FA Cup Final, but I think Redknapp's men will put an end to all that. Still no-one in Wales takes football very seriously. Never been much point.

But the fever is wonderful while it lasts - 4 million Welshmen in Wales, but 10 million outside singing about it!
