Been able to get well in advance with my first quizzes of the winter this afternoon. In one round where every answer contains at least two sets of double letters I have "taken your name in vain" by asking about the chief interestt of a cruciverbalist. Obviously, given the criterion of at least two sets of double letters, I expect "crossword puzzles" as the answer.

I put a fiver on Glamorgan in 1997 ... and only got 16-1! You'll get a lot better odds this season, but I've a feeling it might be better to hold onto your money just now though!
There was a bit of a stir when Cardiff City made it to the FA Cup Final, but I think Redknapp's men will put an end to all that. Still no-one in Wales takes football very seriously. Never been much point.
But the fever is wonderful while it lasts - 4 million Welshmen in Wales, but 10 million outside singing about it!
