Miami Hotels

Myself and a friend plan on staying in Miami for 10 days in late June. But are unsure where to stay, we have heard alot about South Beach, but apart from that we don't know much, We want to be close to bars, etc, and do not have transport, so walking distance would be great. thanks

There are lots of hotel web sites that have reviews on them. Sorry don't know any off hand.

South Beach has plenty of bars and restaurants and a good beach too; lots of nice art deco buildings and a gay community. There's not a lot to be said for staying in Miami central, especially if you don't have a car, it's just another sprawling American metropolis.
