an uncle of mine has been employing a housekeeper/nanny for the last three years, she's great at cooking, cleaning, and looking after the kids. shes very trust worthy and hard working.

recently we found out that she is an illegal immigrant, we are so worried that we may lose her as she is like family now. is there anything we can do to keep her in the country, as she is being paid well cash in hand (which i know is another illegal thing as she's not paying taxes).

are there any ways for illegal immigrants to be legal in this counytry? i dnt think a work permit will work in her favour now

we tried all that, negative results
I wouldn't tell anyone else about it, as bad news spreads quickly and someone is likely to inform the authorities.
What a load of old rubbish.

Your Uncle is a poor role model for his children, he is aware cash-in-hand is illegal but has paid his employee for 3 years in this way. So he wasn't aware she was an illegal immigrant at first but now he is continuing to act illegally and is trying to get round the law.

Yes the children may be too young to understand now but over time they will find out.

It is clear that there is plenty of money in the family how much has been obtained by failing to pay other taxes?.

You are also abetting a criminal because that is what your Uncle is. Come clean take the rap. Children are very adaptable.

I agree with RevFunk... Load of old rubbish if ever I heard it
