Hi everybody - I scratched the dashboard of my new car trying to squeeze in stuff to bring to the Recycling.

anybody have a tip so that I could rub out these scratches. thanks in advance

if they are deep gouges, you can buy a type of resin/wax used to cover up deep scratches

If they are just scuff, use Back To Black or Cockpit Shine, from Halfords.

thanks for that spaced. They are fine scratches - I figure rather than paint over them they would rub ie melt back into the rubber. sorry for not explaining correctly. I do have some back to black - I am not too well with a lot of pain today so will try this later.

I done too much yesterday - cut the grass, brought stuff to the recycling and then done voluntary work and worked on a computer (sat on a chair for 2 and half hours) with no back on it. My back is breakingggggggggggggggggg

yeah use back to black, cockpit shine. They are basically like a scented version of WD40, which will bring the black shine back. Another option is to brush in some shoe polish only a small bit to get rid of the light scratches
