I've often wondered about this. If god made man in his own image, then I suppose it follows that He looks like us? Do you think this goes for the devil/satan as well? What are your thoughts?

God has no image so we can not say man was his image. It might have been his vision, idea or whatever word you may give it. Satan was of course one of the most prominent angels. But he was given angel's title because of his obedience and worship for God. In fact he was of Gins. And that is the reason when God created Adam (pbuh) and asked all the angels to bow in front of him then all of them obeyed but Satan (Iblis). Angels do not do these things as they have not given free will. It is only human and gins who have free will (within a limit). It shows that human and Gins although, were given free will but were still supposed to do what God asked them to do. Because that is the right path (we like that or not), because God knows even what we know not.
