substitue foods

can anyone suggest a substitue for glace cherries and dried apricots that i can use in my chocolate biscuit cakes ?

I'm sure you could make up the quantities with any dried fruit of your choice really, or choc chips and nuts maybe, as long as you add the correct quantity of your alternative the recipe should work out fine, hope this helps.....................welsh
