film with sex scene/screwdriver in head?

In Victoria Wood's "dinnerladies" the character Jean mentions watching a film "with Michelle thing - where they have that sex scene and she stabs him in the head with a screwdriver".

Is this a real film and, if so, what is it called.

Wasn't that Basic Instinct?  Dunno about anyone called Michelle - I take it that's meant to be Michael Douglas?

it was an ice pick in Basic Instinct, but I too suspect that was the film that was being referred to

In Basic Instinct Catherine Trammell (Sharon Stone) stabbed a man with an ice pick, during a sex scene.

Michael Douglas plays the cop who has to track her down.

Have no idea about this 'screwdriver' film.

Well since dinnerladies is a comedy, Jean's just doing an Ethel from Eastenders and getting the words wrong so as to get a laugh. Of course its Basic Instinct!!!

Agree with shazfish. She mixed it up for comic effect, screwdriver/ice pick and Michelle Pffeiffer and Sharon Stone.
