I have just purchased a second hand leather sofa (bargain!) which looks great but the previous owners must have been smokers, and the sofa doesn't smell too good as a result! I've tried febreezing in with no success. Does anyone know a good way to get rid of the smell from leather? Thanks

Personally I'd go for the saddle soap idea first.

Thanks, a few good tips here.
I have the same problem, new sofa in a flat, my tenants were secret smokers and now the leather stinks like an old ashtray. I read somewhere Bicarbonate of Soda in warm water to clean it with works, but haven't tried myself yet.

Ah, good old bicarbonate of sada, always saves the day! I will try this one tonight, the smell is making me feel ill, action must be taken!
You need to use an enzyme cleaner which will eradicate the odour and is safe to use on leather. EM Clean has been thoroughly tested for this.
