My bank hasnt debited my account
Using Natwests online banking I paid a bill on 30th march.,and using my debit card (same account)made a payment over the phone.Both payments added to �180. Both payments were received successfully by the 2 companies and the payments have been added on to my staements with them.
However Natwest havent debited my account and my statements show no record of my transactions.
Are natwest likely to notice now as its been 2 weeks since. That money is still in my account.

I rang the companies i had sent the payment to and as far as they are concerned they have payment and said they would have contacted me immediately if there had been a problem.so wouldnt do the payment again.
So the money is still in my account and i have tried to put it right with no avail.
Should i let it slip now or contact the bank again? Its very tempting to hold onto this cash at the minute but my conscience is saying not to.

Well I suppose you've tried to explain to the bank and they have said everything is ok their end.
I'd be tempted to contact then again, preferably through email or a letter then you have a written record and if they still don't care then at least you tried your best and have proof if they turn nasty later on.
