web pages too big for screen

hi there, i have had my pc stripped down and i am now putting things back on again. my web pages do not fit the screen any more they are too big. has anyone got a clue as to how to get my pages to fit to screen. ??

Try the following:
Go to 'start' and click on 'control panel'
Then choose 'display' - the last tab across the top is called 'settings', click on it
If the number under the slider bar reads 800 x 600 this exlains why you are getting the sideways scroller bar. Click on this number slider and drag it 'one notch' up so the settings read something like 1024 x summat else.
Then OK.
