Yesterday's Times crossword had a clue - 19d, Language spoken in train socially (6)
The answer was Finish. Can anyone explain this please? I get the lanuage bit, its the train I don't understand.

Train socially (spoken ) ..means to finish ..as in a "finishing school"

You're both right! 'Spoken' suggests the answer sounds like a language (ie Finnish) and 'to train socially' means 'to finish' as in Shaney's school.
