I work 25 hours and have asked if I can work flexi as I have two elderly relatives. I have been told that one of my line managers has opposed this as she works 26 hours Mon - Wed to care for her children. I was under the impression that workers with elderly dependants have the same rights as workers with children

Your employers are not obligated to allow you to work flexi hours but they must consider your request. If they can give a good business reason for not granting your request, they are allowed to refuse.
Hi

Our company requires motivated individuals who would like to earn some extra cash by selling holidays, travel insurance and other tourism products from home.

You will be working on a 'commission only' basis and will be self employed. Commission rates are excellent and the number of hours you put in will be up to you. This can be a part time or full time position depending on your situation.

You will have access to our internal online system in order to make your sales. You will be given your own sub-website and company e-mail address.

You will be required to build your own client base and will have a number of support tools to help you do this.

You must have own computer and access to the Internet.

Full training and support will be given.

Excellent commission rates, no targets, company e-mail address, access to internal travel insurance and hotel website.

Please contact [email protected] for further details.
