when dose "master" become "mr"

my grandson is now 18,he has premium bonds in his name as "master soandso" now that he is 18 should that be "mr soandso" ?????,or dose it matter ??

No, I don't think his title matters. Now he is over 18 he has absolute control over them but if he's worried about it he can always write to the premium bond office and ask for it to be changed. It won't affect him being able to cash any prizes if he wins.

I dobt it matters, as long as he can prove he is the rightful owner then his title shouldn't make any diffrence
I was always told that once a chap gets to 18 (and isn't married) they are Mr Joe Bloggs Esq.

Before that they are Master..and if married, just plain old Mr.
