Suspsion of abh
I am under suspsion of ABH however the victim I have hit after having made a statement no longer wishes to carry on with the case however there are witnesses who have made statements who seen me attack the man.
Can I still be charged with ABH on the man or would they now go for a public order charge?
My defence is self defence.

Although they have said that they don't wish to proceed are they still willing to attend court and give evidence or are they withdrawing or changing their statement?
See a solicitor. If it genuinely is self defence I cannot see the CPS going ahead with it.
