I've removed fridge to re-emulsion wall.  There's a patch about 6 inches by 6 inches that looks wet, but it isn't, that won't go.  I've sanded it down, re-emulsioned, tried unibond, re-emulsioned, but amazingly it's still there.  Any ideas how to solve it please?

Apply an oil-based paint over the patch, maybe thinned a little with turps, then redecorate.
Try painting Stainblock on it.
