who is supposed to pay national insurance ? me or the employer, what about when working through and agency ?

tax should I be taxed on the minimal wage ? won't have nothing to live on soon

You and your employer both pay NI. Same goes for an agency. Minimum wage might make you taxable if you're doing enough hours

I know and it was a shock to me when I started work, but it's what we all have to live with i'm afraid! ;0(

yep I know and we have to sit here and watch high profile people commit fraud and just get a tap on the hand while if we just consider it we are in for it,

I should have been born an MPs son
No going moaniong about it, you have to get out there and earn better money, go to college or Uni and get decent qualifications and use them.

yes thats a great idea and with a house to run where do I find the money, I did enquire about a qualification and it seems the particular one i want means having a full day a week free, now I wonder what idiot thought that up 1 day + 1 evening ? the only person that can do that can't be working enough hours to pay the course.... I'm hoping i get off the agency and employed directly and get a bit more money
