Want to make a cake with a ganache style icing, thought about trying caramac chocolate which i love does it still exsist! the last time i saw in was in woolies been into day and no joy!

It's definitely still around as I saw some a couple of days ago in my local newsagents.

We have it in my local shop, in fact most shops round here sell it. Lovely stuff yummy! I had a bar a couple of weeks ago in fact.

i had a friend who was allergic to chocolate, the only thing she could eat was a caramac cause it isnt actually chocolate.

When i find the golden chocolate i am going to make a caramac fudge cake for all the great abers that replied!!!
Had one very recently for fist time in years - mmmm. Do you think it would melt properly to make the ganache?

going to adapt a recipe can only try! didnt realise it wasnt chocolate maybe the recipe will not work
