It's been an awful night, it was my youngest son's GF's birthday yesterday and they went into Preston last night, i went to my works do, came home and it was a really pleasant evening.

3.45am, my mobile goes off, it was my son, he was on his way home in a taxi and he was asking if i could unlock the back door as his GF was near comatosed and he would have to carry her in!!!

I got up , unlocked the door, then for the next hour the whole house was awake listening to her throwing up and wailing about it!!!!

I was hoping to get a lie in after that, but she was back up at 7.30 doing the same thing, and so i got up and made a coffee and now i am shopping on ebay for some brass rodeo rider bookends.

The above is a condensed version of the last 12 hours, oh and i won a cake at the do!!!!

I hope that everyone who doesn't have to get up, can have a relaxing lie in : ))))

Morning Dot. been up since 6 with the baby, strangely she was throwing up too!!!!

Oh to have a lie in.......................
Hope your future daughter in law learns a lesson or two about drinking DOT
Sometimes these situations serve a purpose and maybe she'll not drink as much in future.

My daughter-who is at uni-is forever sending me txts saying" o i have drank soooo much...." or " i am sooo hungover,i have been throwing up everywhere"......so every time she comes to visit, and goes out with her mates,well-I just pray that she doesn't decide to be sick everywhere. I can't deal with that..the reminders would linger.....eeeuuucchh!!

I'm really tired now, a friend came up that asked me to write and appeal the the DLA office cos they only awarded her husband the lower level care thingy, so I've written a 6 sided letter for her by hand and so i am drained!!!

My son's GF is at uni doing law, she doesn't usually seem to drink to excess and is the sensible one in the house as a rule!!! i think cos it was her b'day she got bought alot of drinks, she has yet to surface and come and aplogise though, my grandson is here and he keeps asking what is wrong with her!!

Hi monty, why were you up so late??? 4am is shocking!
