I know this guy who likes to think he's very wise but actually can be a bit naieve. Maybe I just think this because of the fact I have a few female friends who've either slept around without using contraception in the hope of getting pregnant or who have tried to trap a guy by getting pregnant (& they've all succeded in the end at least once).

Anyway he has a girl friend who writes down in a diary when they have sex!? He found this out as he went for an STI test and found he had something so asked her if she was sure she didn't have anything when she recently had her smear done. She text back saying somthing like no & the last day we had sex according to my diary is the 23rd?!?! - Isn't that strange and what a woman trying to concieve would do? Why else would you write in a diary when you have sex? They don't use protection as she says she's on the pill.

Then he also has an ex who's a nurse and their only form of contraception was the withdrawal method if it was her fertile time. Again maybe it's just my friends who make me feel like this but I wouldn't trust a woman who did that!

Where do I start???!!!

1. Some people do write everything in their diaries. I have a friend who writes down everything she eats and drinks, how many fags she smokes and how much she weighs every day (or is that Bridget Jones)

2. Whatever this girl is 'up to' he really needs to use a condom to protect himself as well as his partners, as he has already found out!! (STI)

3. Asking people about their sexual health really ought to be a face-to-face conversation not by text, they are too easily misunderstood, on both sides.

4. He should not be embarking on sexual relationships with people who he does not trust, as he seems to have done in both the cases you mention.

I guess you're right - I just found it very strange and going by my friends I'm very untrusting of other women sometimes. It's for a friend - I'm a happily married, heavily pregnant woman!
