Does anyone have any good ideas for toasties? Our toastie machine is one of those panini maker things. They're great to use, and you can fit lots in them, but we somehow just end up having ham, cheese, ham and cheese, cheese and ham, etc.
If I have any roast lamb left over from Sunday lunch I slice it & chop it, add mint sauce & make a toastie with it. Sometimes I use lamb, raw onion, cucumber & natural yoghurt to make a greek kebab type toastie.
With left over roast beef I add sliced raw onion & horseradish.
Cheese & baked beans is also good.
try a sweet filling like jam or lemon curd, or mincemeat, or tinned or fresh fruit. serve with a dollop of cream, natural yoghurt or ice cream. the possibilities are endless...
