mobile phone language change

My daughter has somehow managed to switch her phone[Nokia....exact model unknown but it`s only weeks old and she`s mislaid the instruction book]] from English to German language mode.

Is there an easy way to change it back?

See if you can find someone else with the same phone and go through the menus with the phones side-by-side.

 

Otherwise I'm sure the supplier or any phone shop should be able to help you...or someone who speaks German...

the model number will be printed on the back of the battery, you then need to google for something along the lines of : Nokia (model no.) user manual download.

This should show you the menus by number aswell as text- the number of each menu option will be in the corner of the screen.

I have a Nokia and have just set it to German. The following steps will take you to the language settings. Not sure if it will work on yours though.

 

Go to Menu

Scroll down through the menu until you get to 'Einstellungen' and press 'Wahlen'.

Scroll down until you get to 'Telefon-einstellungen' and press 'Wahlen'.

Scroll down until you get to 'Sprache' and press 'Wahlen'.

Scroll down to 'English' and press 'Wahlen'.

 

You should now be back to English. Hope this helps.

while it's been answered, the default order for all the Nokias I've had has always been to go into the menu then press 4 - 4 - 1 and that gets you through the menus to the language selection

As kids we were always changing the language on each otheresto Uzbek or something so it was easier to remember the number sequence.

I don't know if it still works for the newer camera nokias etc.
