I fear she is blind in her left eye as she keeps bumping into things. TIA

It can be hard to test pets' sight, but there are several things you can try.

The menace reflex tests that the animal can see and blink. if your cat can blink, then if she doesn't respond to the menace test she might not be able to see.

Fig 20.16, page 554, here:

You could also try the thing with the cotton ball. Covering one eye and dropping a cotton ball in front your your cat, you'll be able to see if she sees it or not.

Same page, Fig 20.17.

However if she can see at all, i.e. if she can see through her right eye, she shouldn't be bumping into things.
Have you thought about taking her to the vet???

Yes Kleiber i have thought of taking her to the vet. I will do on monday if i'm still worried about it. Thanks Noweia and bluedawn99 for the links.
I think you should take your cat to a vet ASAP, it sounds to me, that your cat may be blind in both eyes if she bumps into things. My cat has been blind in one eye for over 15 years (She was 17 in March), and she rushes all around my flat, and hasn't bumped into anything yet, unless she skids on the tiles.
Did you take her to the vet? How is she?
