have waited nearly an hour now for an answer in business section. Can anyone tell me what the issue number is for on a switch debit card?

Isn't it just how many cards you've had issued since you had the account, 4get? I don't often venture into business. :)
Hey 4get

Not all of them have an issue number, at least mine doesn't.

it is usually on the front. if it doesn't have one they will usually ask for valid from and expiry date.

i dont think switch has issue number? see the front of ur card, there should print issue, then a number after that, if you cant see anything, then means your card doesnt have an issue number.

I always thought its how many cards I've been issued but have just received a new one with exactly same issue number. And yes on my switch card.

ah just read your leg, could be right but I've never had a replacement before an expiry date and had a different number when my new card comes through every time but this one
Its strange that its got the same number as the last one 4get. Was it a replacement card? saying that though when I got burgled and had my cards replaced mine had the next number along on.

meybe it is just replacement cards they do it on then pixi. I just cant ever remember having to get a replacement card surely I should still be on 1
when they go out of date and you get a new one you should have the next number along. Or if its a joint account whoever gets the next new card gets the next issue number then if you get one after that you get the next number in line (if that makes sense, sorry im crap at explaining myself)
