I collected coins when I was a teenager (in the 1980s).  My copy of "COIN Year Book 1988" says:

1936 3d silver:

Fine 20p

Very Fine 40p

Extremely Fine 1.20

Uncirculated 2.50

1911 3d silver:

Fine 40p

Very Fine 60p

Extremely Fine 3.50

Uncirculated 6.00

I think that the coin-collecting market was on a high in the 1980s, so these should probably be fairly accurate prices even now after 2 decades of inflation.

NB the terms Fine, Very Fine, Extremely Fine and Uncirculated are technical terms which don't really mean what they sound like.

"Fine" is actually quite bad, and would be with a lot of wear like many of the coins in general circulation;

"Very Fine" is still fairly bad, with a lot of wear on the higher parts of the design

"Extremely Fine" means good condition with only a little wear on the highest bits

"Uncirculated" means without wear, and with only perhaps a very few tiny scratches from being jostled with other coins in the bag.

The condition of a coin is far more important in determining its value than the age.  If the coins you have mentioned are just common ones which you have found lying around in an old house, they are likely to be only F or VF.

And you cam always read all about it...
