How do you get on with your neighbours?

Mine is absolutely exceptional! He has helped me so much , especially today and last week but as a whole, he is a marvel and i could never thank him enough for all he's done this last few months! He is an absolute star! I swear if i move, im taking him with me! :-)

Can't think of anything worse than having rubbish neighbours.

So are yours good, would ya happily throttle them or are you indifferent to them, not seeing them from one month to the next?

I used to love my old neighbours, now I have moved, they are all gits :(
beat me to it
Mine are ok. The lady on the right has organized my tickets for Ascot. The bloke on the left is ok in small doses but swears a lot.
The second to last post on this thread pretty much sums up my neighbours:

I live in a detatched property so I don't have close neighbours. However the ones I have seen all seem to be related to each other and have large hats and all look the same. If I see any I will run and not look back.

When we had our holiday cottage in Cornwall ..we had very noisy smelly sheep that would get into our field.
I just left them too it ...they used to keep the grass down.
You see the cottage came with 3 acres of field. I was not sure what you did with a large field..but the grass kept on growing ...but the sheep saved the day :-)
Sold the place in the end ....Took a nice profit and allowed the property to be used by local people ...Cornwall was o.k. ...but always cold and wet where we were ....and full of Londoners.

My neighbours are great. They're a retired couple and very sweet - and the chap takes my wheelie bin out every week too!
one neighbour is our landlord!Hes ok his wifes a bit well she dont like to chat, put it like that!
Upstairs we have stan the starling and stella his mrs, they live above our kitchen in the attic.
Downstairs is annoying and slightly weird, shes scottish and appears to be very lonely, yeah she has friends but we never see them. She plays her tv incredibly loudly, and her lounge is below our bedroom so late at night when she cant sleep all we hear is her tv and laughing! She was playing les mis 10th aniversary concert the other night!
And last but by no means least, out ner do well neighbour who smokes mary j,and knows all the local police by there first names. I get on well with him but im the only one.
we can here the bogs flushing and taps running as the plumbing is all interconnected!
firewatch

Sounds like an episode of rising damp.
Our neighbour is a nightmare! We just called the police regarding to the noise they make. We will post another thread soon to ask for advise from you posters.
yup rising damp mark 2 when we moved in we had a floor to ceiling subsidence crack in the lounge! its been shored up but knowing our landlords building methods......................
its a fab place to live, it was my husbands last chance to get back into the town where we work, so we jumped at it and have not looked back.
did i all so say we have absolutely stunning views to the malverns?
