won't go to school
my four year old daughter does not like nusery school anymore. She went last year and loved it but a few months ago she has started to cry every time I leave her in. sometimes she tries to cling on to me. I have talked to the teacher about it and she is sure that no one is upsetting her and says she seems fine after aout ten minutes of me dropping her off. Has anyone have any ideas on what I can do to try and get her to stop these morning upsets?

He was quite happy up until three months ago when he started doing exactly the same as you describe. We had no idea why and the nursery staff said the same as your teacher. He was fine after about 10 mins or so.
We just persevered without changing our routine at all but we did make a point of explaining why he had to go to nursery. Gradually the tantrums got better until afte about two months he was fine.
I know there's not much help in this post but I thought I would answer anyway just so you realise that it is quite normal behaviour
Are you making a big fuss of taking her there and saying goodbye? I have heard anecdotes of small children who cry and wail in great anguish, and then switch off and become calm as soon as their mother has left the room. Try dropping her off quickly in the classroom without saying anything or making a fuss.
Hopefully it will sort itself out over time but I don't think there is much you can do - apart from slipping away quietly as Bernardo says. The fact that the teacher says she is fine after 10 mins. suggests there is nothing to worry about. (I have a child of my own and have been through this myself).
