Or is the hoo ha just up in Scotland?

I've got 77 miles until I run out of petrol and every station I passed to day had a sign telling us there was no unleaded left!!

You know, I'm getting vague memories of looking through a catalogue like that. Mind you, it could have been the catalogue you got for saving your cigarette packets....is that right??

I don't recall them calling it a stookie when I was getting a cast or my dislocated knee, but there's doctors and nurses in my family and the definately call it a stookie outside work. I guess they just call it a cast in the hospital LOL

Awwww, I felt like that too. I did it during a really hot summer and spet the summer out in the garden, unfortunately, my stookie was ankle to hip and when it came off my left leg was peely wally compared to my nicely tanned right :(

LOL

Ah I have heard stookie before :) Well my mum is Scottish, and my dad is from Yorkshire, so...perhaps they called it both! I have only had a cast once-fell out of my cot and broke my arm when I was a toddler.

You can't be peely wally living in the sun, Legend! LOL

Aww, poor baby leelapops! What did you break??

It wasn't nice, Invisible, bedtime was the worst as I curl up to go to sleep, I hardly slept for the 8 weeks :(

I can't remember how long it was before I drove, but I'm like you, I find driving fun so it can't have been too long.

You'll probably get some physio when you get it off too.
