Self confidence help!

Hey all,

Well I think this is about self confidence!
My fella is off to a mates stag night on Saturday, and they are going go karting in the day and to a strip club in London in the evening. This is not my fellas idea of fun, well the go karting is, but not the strip club believe it or not!
Silly thing is, I know he loves me and would never do anything to hurt me, yet I'm still worried about him going to the strip club!
His mate asked him on the phone if he was going to pay for a lap dance, and he said no, and said he would never waste his money on something like that, I'm just being me and being stupid, but I dont like it :(

Whhhhhhy?! Why can I not just be normal, not over paranoid and all sorts when I know he loves me? :(

Oh wiggal, it is sad that you feel this way, and I know just what you mean!

But you know what a good man he is, and you can't let your insecurities spoil what you have. You know how much he loves you, because he cooks for you and cares for you nd does lovely things for you.
Strip clubs are just objectification of women. SOme men like to see the naked female body, some don't. Your partner sounds to be very happy with you! And why wouldn't he be? You are kind, sweet, funny, thoughtful, you love animals!!

Let him look if he wants, you know he has you at home, and he knows that too, and he sounds pretty uninterested in anything or anyone else!
In the meantime, if you feel a bit spare on Saturday, come visit me :) (if you could, I would love to have you, we could walk the dogs on the beach!)

I know he loves me, and I completely trust him, its just in my head I worry when i know I have no reason to!
I put it down to having a lot of s*** from men before, and being made to feel so so bad and worthless, and my poor fella has taken the full force of it!

I know just how you feel, but please don't let it get to you sweetie. Easier said than done, but you are a great person, and all the people who mistreated you before have ultimately led to you being with the man you love now, which is no bad thing, for all it was unpleasant to go through such cr*p.

I feel for you Wiggal! Im in a relationship and my man has been to such places, however, he said they are very degrading places - seedy joints. He has never been to one since and after an indepth discussion, he would never go to one of these when he is in a relationship, he saw it as very disrespectful to me! He would not like it if i were to enter a male strip joint afterall, and it is tantamount to being unfaithful - sorry but that is what we both came up with, why get a kick out of a female taking her clothes off in a private cubicle waving her tits about for XX amount of pounds ???? Its ridiculous, and very cheap tat apparently. Its degrading to women. Do be worried, I for one would not like any man of mine entering these places - its disrespectful.
