wedding pics?

I have been sent a cd with wedding photo's on it, please is there an EASY way to transfer them on to my PC so I can e.mail them to friends? I did find an answer on AB but it ended with my having to drag them onto my desktop from my CD drive on 'my computer' and I haven't a clue how to find desktop from there. I know, I know, but if you don't ask you don't learn, do you? Thank you.

put trhe CD in the drive,go to My Computer.Click on the CD drive which has the discin.That will either show a folder which has the photos in,or maybe directly list as either numbers or thumbnails the photos.Select all and copy and paste to your desktop or where you want to save them,like My Pictures.You now have the photos in the computer.
Probably they will be too large to effectively email.Highlight the ones you want to email,right click and scroll down to send to click on this and scroll down to mail recipient and and choose make my pictures smaller.Follow the instructions from there.That will open an email with the photos attached.Just address and write your message
