Non-playing I-pod shuffle
2 Answers
I got a present of one some time and didn't attempt to use it for ages. I managed to get quite a bit of music on but can't get it to play back through the earphones although it plays on the laptop. I've tried different headsets but no luck. It doesn't seem to be charging either so don't know if that's the cause. the instructions are really limited and nothing about how to solve problems. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

1) Which shuffle? Is it white and look like a stick of chewing gum, or metal (perhaps silver) and really small?
When you turn the unit on with the switch, does it show any lighting?
My advice either way is to plug into computer (direct USB connection), and start charging. Just leave it. May take 30mins before it even registers as charging if the battery is sufficiently depleted.
