Looks like nits but not sure?

Hi all, I have had for a while what looks like nits in my hair but it appears to be at the top of my hair/head near my roots. I do get some dandruff but not sure if this linked to it.

They are attatched to the strands of my hair just like nits but they don't look like it. It appears to be slightly longer in length on the hair strand than normal............
Any thoughts or opinions guys?

If you go through your hair with a nit comb and conditioner they will stick to it if they are nits or it could be the eggs that they leave behind x

Nits are the eggs of the louse Sonak, my kids used to pick them up in school at times. Take one off your hair and see if its clicks between your thumbnails. If it does you'll need to buy a special lotion. I cant think of the one I used,that was years ago. If you do have nits you'll need some lotiion before they turn into lice.
