Things to do with egg noodles

My husband loves the above, but all I ever do is stir fry them. Any other suggestions please E

gammon and savoy cabbage soup with noodles - very tasty and filling
I don't have the exact quantities but its basically
1 large potato chopped up roughly and i red onion chopped roughly, add to pan, cover with about 2 pints ham, veg or chicken stock , boild and simmer to softend onions and potatoes.
Meanwhile dry fry a gammon steak which has been snipped into little bite size pieces and set them aside.
Take a savoy cabbage and very finely shred about half of it (just go with your own preference here) and set aside
When potato and onion have softened, cool it all down then liquidise it so you get a smooth soup base
Add this back to the pan, add the gammon and the cabbage, and also one and a bit slabs or egg noodles)
bring to boil and simmer whilst breaking the noodles up, after about 6-7 minutes simmering its ready to serve.
Its like a thick soup - but very filling. Just season it as you wish, but with it being gammon it depends on how salty it is so be weary of adding salt.
I never measure anything out just guess work, if you want more gammon or cabbage etc just add it..........
