Hi
Does anyone know if a good stain remover for spilt milk thats burnt on, on a ceramic hob? I live in a rented property so dont want to use anything thats going to damage the ceramic but brut force and elbow grease jst isnt shifting it!!! Ta ta

I use one of those stainless steel ball things and soapy water - gets everything off easily without scratching.

You have to be careful what you use on ceramic hobs. Most things are OK, but ordinary washing-up liquid (for example) gradually 'dulls' the shine and you can get special cleaning chemicals for them. Don't know where you'd find them (it's been several years since I had one), but you used to find them in Wilkos, B&Q, etc.
If you have your original manual, it should say in there which cleaners you can and can't use.
