Hi All I'm thinking about attending the Canada Expo being held at London Olympia at the end of June, and I was just wondering if anyone had actually attended in previous years. It's open to all those interested in living and working in the country on a permanent basis, but the info seems to be geared to those who have actually applied for their visas and wish to work in healthcare or trade. Is this the case, would I be wasting my time buying the ticket? I have none of the above but would be going for further information and to speak to prospective employers. I'd love to hear from anyone who's been before, or those who have anything to share on the subject. Thanks in advance

I haven't been but there do seem to be a wider range of jobs than that on offer

It's just barely possible that if you try enquiring around nearer the time you'll find people giving away tickets - Candian tourist offices, for instance. This sometimes happens at shows like these, though no promises.

Thanks for replying. I've already signed up to receive info on the upcoming dates so was already aware of what was on offer. As already stated, my work experience isn't in health or trade and that seems to be the only jobs on offer. Anyone who has actually attended, please post an aswer. Cheers
