Do you tend to stick to a list of what you need or do you throw anything in the basket that takes your fancy while wondering around the supermarket? I've been doing my shopping on line and it's costing me a lot more than usual as when you put an item in the search engine, loads of other goodies come up with it and i'm constantly adding to my list but they do deliver cases of wine to your door!
I find I spend less shooping online, I am not so tempted by all the goodies on display, esp down the bakery aisle, why does it have to smell so good! x
Ooo im a terror when i see an offer. I just cant resist. I rarely manage to stick to my list!
I posted last week about the trolley fairies that i encounter when im on my jaunt round tescos! they run along behind me, waiting until my back is turned and then throw stuff such as chocolate bars, crosisants and litres of vodka in my trolley! One of these days im gonna catch the little bu$$ers at it!
I never make a list but I am very aware of how much or how little I have in the bank so I have to control the urge to overspend.
We have trolley elves down here julie - they are very, very fond of jaffa cakes!
I hate shopping of any description, i do it only when absolutely necessary and i rush in get what i think i need and rush back out again, and only after all the screaming kids n prams have gone lol
I don't have a list but because I only cook for one I have to say my breakfast and lunch means are pretty standard. I can cook but I hate just cooking for myself so I tend to eat a lot of fish and salad. That being the case I never need a list.
As I am a bloke,I just get what I really need.Bung it in the basket, fumble for my change,oo-er,I mean money or my debit card.Pay the nice lady at the checkout, and then go home.Thats it really.
Wouldn't it be good if we could food shop for free...we'd all be better off LOL.
Tonyted my mate gill has a list, I think it's hysterical as we never stick to it and we always forget something on it even tho it's written right there in front of us! ;0)
