come on- this site is for asking questions- if no-one asked then it wouldnt be much of a site. So Foxy- by some of his/her responses hasnt figured out how and is learning how. Whats the problem with that? Were you born with some inate ability to solve puzzles?At least Foxy appears to be a reasonable person- unlike some newbies- and hasnt resorted to profanities like some!!

My comments to foxy have been prompted following me giving him three answers in recent days and not even getting the courtesy of a please or a thank you. Also, I indeed ask quiz questions myself, but always take the trouble to express my appreciation.

However, foxy has abused the whole meaning of AnswerBank. That is what prompted negative responses to his posts.

Indeed it IS your broadband, and I would be equally obliged if you were able to provide me with an elusive answer in the future. AB is the best place to ask questions - but with courtesy.

Regarding my 'MATE'' Ivorbiggun - I will let him answer for himself as I do not own his broadband either!

If I had a quid for every answer I have given here in Q&P I would be a millionairess . No ..I don't expect them to thank me ..nice if they do ..but if they don't I can't worry about it . I also cannot be bothered to thread rake and see how many posts people have put up either.
I always try and give people the benefit of the doubt .
Nobody knows other peoples circumstances ..they could be new to computers ...Foxy is a "greenie" so perhaps has not quite got the hang of it yet ...everyone has to start somewhere ......we had this recently with other quizzes ..people moaning on about too many questions being asked . It doesn't hurt to explain to people ..this is the only way they will learn how to do these things .
Then next time round it "clicks" as to how solutions are worked out .

another 'brawl' over the thorny issue of 'giving many answers' for one particular puzzle / xword ..... and also the aggravation of posting answers within hours of a puzzle / xword being issued .....

for some ... it is almost a 'mission' to answer and defend the right of multiple questioners, while for others, multiple questioning is akin to unreasonableness / unfairness ....

I also see it as a coincidence that someone with a different name is always asking at the same time time as you hogging the front page. Or maybe not.
