I'm sure I've seen a taste testing article in a national paper/supplement this year for which supermarket does the best Christmas pud, but of course I can't remember which one came out top.  Does anyone have any ideas, or can they recommend one (the price isn't that important, anything up to 10, I'm feeling flush this year!!)?

why dont you make your own you still have time,,and you could make a super one for about 5 i soak my fruit in guiness the day before i make mine,,but you could use brandy or sherry or even rum,,its your choice..it is so simple to make you just mix all the ingredients and steam for about 3 hours,,then change the tin foil on top of your pudding dish and store for xmas...if you want a recipe post a question or reply below and i will type one in for you..the xmas puddings in the shops are inferior to home made ones...you may surprise yourself by making one...gypsy
the top one in the article I read was from Sainsbury's
