Diets never worked for me Sleepyj and every time I did diet, I always put more back on until I reached 22 stones 5lbs. I had a gastric band operation 10 months ago and have now lost 11 stones with just 1 and a half more to lose. If you are a grazer, which I was and still am, graze on what weight watchers call free foods, my fave is cherry tomatoes with rock salt and pepper, cucumber, pickled cauliflower and all that kind of thing. I NEVER have anything with sweeteners in any more as these make the body crave more for sugar so if you are feeling like something sweet go for damage limitation, a packet of fruit gums, chocolate that is based with bisciut, i.e. kit kat and a sugared coffee or tea.
