In all seriousness, (deadly seriousness) the manufacture of illicit methamphetamines (are there any other kind) involves the use of large amounts of ice (don't ask for what), usually up to 50 pounds per batch, depending on the method of manufacture.
Here in the U.S., meth manufaturing has become rampant. I live in a rural western state and friends in law enforcement tell me that at least half of the old, abandoned farm and ranch buildings that dot the landscape from days gone by are used in this process. They also tell me that many people manufacturing the drug are killed or maimed each year due to the cooking producing terribly toxic fumes as well as explosians. Any house used for any length of time to cook the stuff is usually contaminated so badly that the house is condemned for human habitation... a thoroughly disgusting and dangerous enterprise, even to the unsuspecting neighbors...
