In 1866, this bright gang was the first to pull of a certain kind of robbery. In fact, the bank building still stands to honor their brilliance. Who was the gang and what kind of bank robbery was it?

In first daylight bank robbery in US, Frank and Jesse James robbed the bank of Richmond, Missouri... Luck!

Glad I caught my error... although the James gang rode from Richmond, the robbery was of the Clay County bank, Valentines Day, 1866 in Liberty. Missouri.  The building is a museum today that I've visited numerous times...
