Anybody else got huge breasts and weight gain from the Myrena Coil?

i must admit i've put on 7lbs and gone up to a DD, which is bloody great, i've had the mirena for 15 month and had no problems.

Sounds pretty unpleasant doesn't it? Think I'd have it out.

Side effects can effect individual people, i had mine removed after 2 years due to various problems one of them was the weight gain.

Thanks for your comments everybody. What makes me most cross is that I wasn't at all bothered about my heavy periods, I coped. It was a consultant that said the myrena coil was wonderful and "sold" the idea to me. No mention of side effects just the fact that I would never have a period, I couldn't argue with that could I? Are these guys on commission? I am mad as hell! I don't even need the contraception, hubby's had the snip! Why did I go along with it, you trust the professional advice don't you.

id be fuming too, have it out and ensure you get the doc who sold it you to take it out and dont wash for a week you you make them do it!
