Gold jewellery

Can I tell just by looking at a ring whether it is 9 or 18ct gold? I want to sell some rings on Ebay but want to make sure I'm describing them properly!

Tried to see if a jewellers wanted them today but they said they weren't interested, apparently they're only after scrap gold!

They will be hallmarked either 9ct, 18ct or 22ct if they originated in the UK. Look inside the ring....you may need a magnifying glass.
