I just noticed from the BBC that the government's Culture, Media and Sport committee has just reported ... ...
"In our opinion, the history of the aquatics centre shows a risible approach to cost control and that the Games organisers seem to be willing (to) spend money like water."
If you watched the Lord Mayor Question Time special last week, you'll have heard Ken Livingston apparently openly admit, that his estimated costing for the Olympics was completely and deliberately underestimated, in order to secure government investment in the East End of London.
If this is the case, (and that's what it sounded like to me)then surley he should be open to investigation for a fraudulent act.
I guess my all-time favourite is from David Coleman when he explained (at some length) Asa Hartford's medical problem ... .... then described him as a "whole-hearted" player.
