I just noticed from the BBC that the government's Culture, Media and Sport committee has just reported ... ...

If this is the case, (and that's what it sounded like to me)then surley he should be open to investigation for a fraudulent act.

surely nobody in their right mind believed the figures for the costs of the olympic games that were originally quoted ?!
if the true expected costs were given people would have been even more anti games than they now are.
